The story of the Catholic Church is not found in statistics in faith. It is the story of the Holy Spirit, who continues to breathe life into the Body of Christ, working in powerful and surprising ways, from the overflowing parishes of Kinshasa and Manila to the small, faithful community praying in a quiet American town. Our hope is not in numbers in the promise of Jesus Christ: \"I am with you always, to the end of the age\" (Matthew 28:20). The path forward is the path of mission. It is a call for each of us, in our own time and place, to rediscover the joy of the Gospel and to become the authentic, love-filled witnesses that our world so desperately needs.\u2074\u2076<\/p>\n
