August 2025 \/ 07:00 Uhr (CNA).<\/p>\n<p>Da k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz (KI) immer weiter verbreitet ist, warnt ein katholischer Bioethik-Experte vor den damit verbundenen Gefahren und sagt, es sei \u201enoch nicht zu sp\u00e4t\u201c, den \u201eGeist wieder in die Flasche zur\u00fcckzubringen\u201c und die schlimmsten Auswirkungen der neuen Technologie zu vermeiden.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Papst Leo XIV. hat bereits<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/264921\/pope-leo-xiv-on-ai-all-of-us-are-concerned-for-children-and-young-people\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> davor gewarnt, dass KI negative Auswirkungen haben k\u00f6nnte<\/a> auf die Entwicklung junger Menschen und zu einem \u201eVerlust des menschlichen Empfindens\u201c beitragen k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eEr nahm den Namen Leo XIV. an, um sich mit Leo XIII. zu verbinden, der sich selbst mit der industriellen Revolution des sp\u00e4ten Jahrhunderts auseinandersetzte, die die Kultur v\u00f6llig ver\u00e4nderte\u201c, sagte der Moraltheologe Charles Camosy, Professor f\u00fcr Bioethik an der Catholic University of America und anerkannter Autor, am 15. August gegen\u00fcber der \u201eEWTN News In-Depth\u201c-Moderatorin Catherine Hadro.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width:100%\" class=\"mx-auto embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0jchz77vJ48?feature=oembed\" class=\"embed-responsive-item\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u201eWir erleben gerade einen \u00e4hnlichen technologischen Wandel, der die Kultur v\u00f6llig ver\u00e4ndern wird\u201c, sagte Camosy. \u201eWie reagieren wir darauf?\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Camosy schrieb k\u00fcrzlich einen Artikel f\u00fcr<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/ideas\/archive\/2025\/06\/pope-leo-xiv-artificial-intelligence\/683237\/\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> the Atlantic<\/a> in dem er argumentierte, dass die Auseinandersetzung mit k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz \u201edas ehrgeizigste und dauerhafteste Projekt des Verm\u00e4chtnisses von Papst Leo XIV. sein k\u00f6nnte\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>KI werde \u201efast jeden Teil unserer Kultur beeinflussen\u201c, bemerkte Camosy und f\u00fcgte hinzu, dass \u201eMenschen oft nicht unterscheiden k\u00f6nnen, ob sie mit einem Menschen oder einem Chatbot sprechen\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eIn dem Ma\u00dfe, wie wir diesbez\u00fcglich Verwirrung haben, ist das wirklich sehr besorgniserregend, denn wir m\u00fcssen an der Vorstellung festhalten, dass wir uns grundlegend von einem gro\u00dfen Sprachmodell unterscheiden\u201c, sagte er.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWir sind Fleisch und Blut, geschaffen nach dem Ebenbild Gottes, mit einer Seele, die eine Beziehung widerspiegelt, die in einem Chatbot unm\u00f6glich vorhanden sein kann.\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Angesichts einer anhaltenden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gse.harvard.edu\/ideas\/usable-knowledge\/24\/10\/what-causing-our-epidemic-loneliness-and-how-can-we-fix-it\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Einsamkeitsepidemie<\/a>, seien die Menschen bereits anf\u00e4llig, bemerkte er.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Camosy bemerkte, dass Menschen, die in einer Welt leben, in der sie \u201es\u00fcchtig nach ihren Smartphones\u201c sind, unf\u00e4hig sind, authentisch zu kommunizieren, und denen Freunde fehlen, die aufrichtig reagieren k\u00f6nnen, \u201eanf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr einen sehr artikulierten Chatbot\u201c werden k\u00f6nnen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Er sagte, KI-Chatbots w\u00fcrden nicht nur \u201eeinspringen, um die L\u00fccke zu f\u00fcllen, sondern dies auf eine Weise tun, die zumindest das Bed\u00fcrfnis imitiert, das wir alle nach Intimit\u00e4t haben, danach, dass sich jemand um uns k\u00fcmmert.\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Es ist ein Thema, das die Kirche bereits seit einiger Zeit \u00fcber Arbeitsgruppen zur KI behandelt, merkte Camosy an.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201eMan k\u00f6nnte argumentieren, dass die Kirche der breiteren Kultur in Bezug auf KI voraus war, da diese Gruppen schon seit einigen Jahren existieren\u201c, sagte er.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Camosy verwies auf das Dokument des Vatikans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/roman_curia\/congregations\/cfaith\/documents\/rc_ddf_doc_20250128_antiqua-et-nova_en.html\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Antiqua et Nova: Anmerkung zum Verh\u00e4ltnis zwischen k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz und menschlicher Intelligenz<\/a> als katholische Ressource zum Thema KI.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201eIch vermute, wei\u00df es aber nicht sicher, dass unser derzeitiger Heiliger Vater zumindest in der Anfangsphase ist, so etwas auf die Beine zu stellen\u201c, fuhr er fort.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201eEs geht nicht nur um KI\u201c, sagte er und merkte an, dass die KI-Diskussion mit dem \u201eAufkommen von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/257215\/what-is-transhumanism-and-what-are-its-ethical-challenges-a-catholic-philosopher-responds\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">transhumanism<\/a>.\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Transhumanismus ist eine wissenschaftliche und kulturelle Bewegung, die die Ver\u00e4nderung der menschlichen Biologie durch Technologie vorschl\u00e4gt, was m\u00f6glicherweise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/257215\/what-is-transhumanism-and-what-are-its-ethical-challenges-a-catholic-philosopher-responds\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">die Grenzen zwischen dem K\u00fcnstlichen und dem Realen verwischt.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201eWir befinden uns in diesem wirklich wichtigen kulturellen Moment, in dem diese zweite industrielle Revolution kurz vor dem Durchbruch steht.
