Dezember 2025 \/ 15:00 Uhr (CNA).<\/p>\n<p>Der katholische Kalender bietet verschiedene M\u00f6glichkeiten, die Weihnachtszeit einzuteilen. Die westliche liturgische Tradition der Kirche betrachtet Weihnachten als eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/calendar\/2022-12-29\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">octave<\/a>, eine achtt\u00e4gige Feier der Geburt Jesu Christi.<\/p>\n<p>Die Weihnachtsoktav beginnt am Weihnachtstag selbst, dem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/saint\/the-nativity-of-the-lord-christmas-665\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Hochfest der Geburt des Herrn<\/a>. Sie endet am Hochfest der Gottesmutter Maria am 1. Januar, das in dieser Saison auf einen Donnerstag im neuen Jahr 2026 f\u00e4llt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Dramaturgie dieser Zeit im katholischen liturgischen Kalender umfasst sogar \u00c4nderungen der liturgischen Gew\u00e4nder der Geistlichen.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend dieser acht Weihnachtstage tragen die Geistlichen w\u00e4hrend der Messe Wei\u00df.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt jedoch Ausnahmen, bei denen die Geistlichen Rot tragen, das Symbol des Martyriums: das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/saint\/st-stephen-666\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Fest des heiligen Stephanus<\/a>, am 26. Dezember, und das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/saint\/holy-innocents-667\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Fest der Unschuldigen Kinder<\/a>, Dec. 28. <\/p>\n<p>Wie die Apostelgeschichte berichtet, war der heilige Stephanus ein Diakon und der erste M\u00e4rtyrer nach der Auferstehung Jesu. Er wurde get\u00f6tet, weil er Christus als die Erf\u00fcllung des Alten Testaments verk\u00fcndete. Einer der Zeugen seines Todes war ein Mann namens Saulus, der sp\u00e4tere heilige Paulus.<\/p>\n<p>Auch die Unschuldigen Kinder gelten als M\u00e4rtyrer. Sie starben anstelle Jesu, als Herodes versuchte, alle Jungen unter zwei Jahren zu t\u00f6ten.<\/p>\n<p>Am 27. Dezember begeht die Kirche das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/saint\/st-john-the-apostle-671\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Fest des heiligen Apostels Johannes<\/a>, des \u201eJ\u00fcngers, den Jesus liebte\u201c. Johannes war ein gro\u00dfer Evangelist und gilt als Verfasser des Johannesevangeliums und dreier Briefe des Neuen Testaments. Viele schreiben ihm auch die Verfasserschaft der Offenbarung des Johannes zu.<\/p>\n<p>Das Fest der Heiligen Familie setzt die Geschichte von Jesus, Maria und Josef mit der Flucht nach \u00c4gypten fort. Es f\u00e4llt normalerweise auf den Sonntag nach Weihnachten. <\/p>\n<p>Das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/saint\/solemnity-of-mary-mother-of-god-102\" target=\"null\" class=\"null\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Hochfest der Gottesmutter Maria<\/a>, blickt auf die Rolle Marias bei der Menschwerdung Jesu Christi. Sie ist die \u201eTheotokos\u201c, w\u00f6rtlich die Gottesgeb\u00e4rerin. Sie tr\u00e4gt nicht einfach nur die menschliche Natur Jesu in sich, noch ist sie ein Gef\u00e4\u00df allein f\u00fcr seine G\u00f6ttlichkeit. Da die g\u00f6ttliche und die menschliche Natur Jesu vereint sind, ist sie wahrhaftig die Mutter Gottes.<\/p>\n<p>Die Weihnachtsoktav ist eine Zeit, in der viele Menschen Zeit haben, sich von einem arbeitsreichen Jahr zu erholen und Zeit mit der Familie zu verbringen.
