Il quittera son poste d'\u00e9v\u00eaque auxiliaire pour succ\u00e9der au cardinal Robert McElroy \u00e0 la t\u00eate du dioc\u00e8se.<\/p>\n<p>Having <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/254497\/pope-francis-names-two-new-auxiliary-bishops-for-san-diego-who-immigrated-to-us-as-teens\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">a re\u00e7u sa cons\u00e9cration \u00e9piscopale en septembre 2023<\/a>, l'\u00e9v\u00eaque de 58 ans n\u00e9 au Vietnam a \u00e9galement servi comme \u00e9v\u00eaque titulaire de Cercina. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 administrateur temporaire du dioc\u00e8se de San Diego apr\u00e8s l'installation de Mgr McElroy comme \u00e9v\u00eaque de Washington en mars.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis son ordination sacerdotale en 1999, Mgr Pham a exerc\u00e9 son minist\u00e8re aupr\u00e8s des fid\u00e8les catholiques dans des paroisses \u00e0 travers le dioc\u00e8se de San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>De 1991 \u00e0 2001, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00eatre assistant \u00e0 St. Mary, Star of the Sea, \u00e0 Oceanside.
