L'\u00c9glise catholique au Vietnam a accueilli avec une grande joie et beaucoup d'espoir l'ordination de 40 nouveaux pr\u00eatres au cours du mois de juin, mois du Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur de J\u00e9sus.<\/p>\n

Selon l'agence de presse du Vatican Selon Fides<\/a>, le dioc\u00e8se de Da Nang a accueilli six nouveaux pr\u00eatres, \u00ab consacr\u00e9s pour \u00eatre chacun un \u2018alter Christus\u2019 [\u2018un autre Christ\u2019], pour devenir des pasteurs du peuple de Dieu, non pas pour vivre pour eux-m\u00eames mais pour \u00eatre tout \u00e0 tous \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l'archev\u00eaque Joseph Dang Duc Ngan, archev\u00eaque de Hu\u1ebf et administrateur apostolique de Da Nang, dans son hom\u00e9lie lors de la messe d'ordination le 24 juin dans la cath\u00e9drale locale devant de nombreux fid\u00e8les.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Un pr\u00eatre ne devient pas parfait d\u00e8s le jour de son ordination. Le sacerdoce est un cheminement de croissance quotidienne dans le Christ et de renforcement constant dans l'Esprit Saint pour accomplir la mission de Dieu et de l'\u00c9glise avec joie et amour v\u00e9ritable \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 le pr\u00e9lat.<\/p>\n

L'\u00e9v\u00eaque Peter Le Tan Loi a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 la messe d'ordination de 13 nouveaux pr\u00eatres le 25 juin \u00e0 la cath\u00e9drale de Soc Trang dans le dioc\u00e8se de Can Tho.<\/p>\n

Au cours de l'Eucharistie, le pr\u00e9lat a invit\u00e9 les fid\u00e8les pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 \u00ab s'unir dans la pri\u00e8re et \u00e0 accompagner les nouveaux pr\u00eatres, afin qu'ils puissent toujours mener une vie fid\u00e8le \u00e0 leur identit\u00e9 pastorale : humble, sainte et d\u00e9vou\u00e9e au troupeau \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le 27 juin, f\u00eate du Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur de J\u00e9sus et Journ\u00e9e de sanctification des pr\u00eatres<\/a>, 21 nouveaux pr\u00eatres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ordonn\u00e9s pour l'archidioc\u00e8se de H\u00f4 Chi Minh-Ville (anciennement Sa\u00efgon).<\/p>\n

L'archev\u00eaque Joseph Nguyen Nang a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans son hom\u00e9lie que \u00ab le pr\u00eatre n'est pas comme un robot de l'\u00e8re moderne. Dans son minist\u00e8re, le pr\u00eatre prend la volont\u00e9 de Dieu au s\u00e9rieux afin que, dans chaque action \u2014 liturgique, pastorale et caritative \u2014 il puisse transmettre la bonne nouvelle \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Fides a \u00e9galement rapport\u00e9 qu'au sanctuaire de Notre-Dame de Bai Dau dans le dioc\u00e8se de Ba Ria, l'\u00e9v\u00eaque Emmanuel Nguyen Hong Son a ordonn\u00e9 six nouveaux diacres, \u00e9galement le 27 juin.<\/p>\n

Une d\u00e9claration du bureau de presse du Vatican a rapport\u00e9 qu'\u00ab une grande appr\u00e9ciation a \u00e9t\u00e9 exprim\u00e9e pour le d\u00e9veloppement positif des relations entre le Saint-Si\u00e8ge et le Vietnam \u00bb. <\/p>\n

En particulier, la mise en \u0153uvre de l'accord historique de 2023 sur le repr\u00e9sentant pontifical r\u00e9sident au Vietnam a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9e, ce qui a permis au Saint-Si\u00e8ge d'avoir \u00e0 nouveau un repr\u00e9sentant dans le pays, ce qui n'\u00e9tait pas arriv\u00e9 depuis 1975, lorsque le gouvernement communiste a expuls\u00e9 le d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 apostolique.<\/p>\n

Le Vietnam compte pr\u00e8s de 93 millions d'habitants. Parmi eux, environ 6,8 millions, soit 7,4% de la population, sont catholiques, selon statistiques<\/a> publi\u00e9 par le Saint-Si\u00e8ge. <\/p>\n
