For the payment to be an exact match for the perfect human life Adam lost, they believe Jesus had to be a perfect human\u2014no more, no less. If Jesus were Almighty God, they reason, the ransom would have been of infinitely greater value than what was lost, and that wouldn't fit with God\u2019s perfect justice.\u2078 You see, this understanding of how the sacrifice worked directly shapes their view of who Jesus is.<\/p>\n

    This two-tiered destiny, with one group going to heaven and another inheriting a paradise earth, has implications for how they approach the Bible.
