Duizenden gelovigen trokken zaterdag door de straten van Rome om deel te nemen aan uitbundige en prachtige processies door leden van katholieke broederschappen van over de hele wereld, die in de Eeuwige Stad bijeenkwamen als onderdeel van de festiviteiten van het Jubileumjaar 2025. <\/p>\n

Een broederschap is een vrijwillige vereniging van gelovigen die zich wijdt aan bijzondere werken van christelijke naastenliefde. Vele bestaan al honderden jaren.<\/p>\n

De processies op zaterdag werden gehouden ter gelegenheid van het Jubileum van Broederschappen. In totaal trokken twee processies door de Romeinse straten en eindigden bij het Circus Maximus.<\/p>\n
