China (International Christian Concern) \u2014 <\/span><\/strong>Volgens een bericht van 30 september <\/span>rapport<\/span><\/a> van ChinaAid vereist een mobiele app die door een Chinese beroepsschool wordt gebruikt dat studenten verklaren dat ze athe\u00efst zijn. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De app, die wordt gebruikt door het Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity in China, instrueert studenten om het vakje voor \u201cgeen religieuze overtuiging\u201d aan te vinken in hun persoonlijke informatiegedeelte, wat een duidelijke schending is van hun recht op godsdienstvrijheid.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Het rapport stelde dat \u201cpunt 4 onder \u2018persoonlijke informatie-aantekeningen\u2019 vereist dat \u2018geen religieuze overtuiging\u2019 wordt ingevuld\u2026 waardoor alle ingeschreven studenten gedwongen worden zichzelf als \u2018athe\u00efst\u2019 of \u2018niet-gelovige\u2019 te verklaren.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De regerende partij van China, de Chinese Communistische Partij (CCP), is officieel athe\u00efstisch en heeft een lange geschiedenis van het niet respecteren en vervolgen van religieuze gemeenschappen, waaronder christenen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gospel Coalition <\/span>dat<\/span><\/a> in 2022 dat \u201c[President] Xi veracht het christendom \u2026 [en] vreest dat religie, vooral het christendom, een poging is van buitenlandse invloeden om zijn natie te ondermijnen.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chinese autoriteiten hebben <\/span>vond naar verluidt<\/span><\/a> removed <\/span>crosses<\/span><\/a> van gebouwen verwijderd en afbeeldingen van Jezus vervangen door foto's van president Xi Jinping.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Volgens de United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) \u201crichten autoriteiten zich op katholieke en protestantse christenen voor sinificatie. De overheid heeft <\/span>ordered<\/span><\/a> het verwijderen van kruisen van kerken bevolen, afbeeldingen van Jezus Christus of de Maagd Maria vervangen door foto's van president Xi, het tonen van CCP-slogans bij de ingangen van kerken verplicht, religieuze teksten gecensureerd, door de CCP goedgekeurd religieus materiaal opgelegd en geestelijken ge\u00efnstrueerd om de CCP-ideologie te prediken.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bovendien is het minderjarigen jonger dan 18 jaar <\/span>prohibited<\/span><\/a> verboden om enige vorm van religieuze eredienst bij te wonen, inclusief bijbelkampen en zondagsschool. Volgens <\/span>Pew Research<\/span><\/a>, \u201crichten scholen zich op het bevorderen van niet-religie en athe\u00efsme, en veel kinderen sluiten zich aan bij aan de CCP gelieerde jeugdgroepen, waar ze trouw moeten zweren aan het athe\u00efsme.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
