De ouders van de heilige Carlo Acutis hebben bijgedragen aan de ontwikkeling van een nieuwe offici\u00eble nieuwsapplicatie die verbonden is met de institutionele website van Vaticaanstad, www.vaticanstate.va<\/a>, een initiatief dat wordt gepresenteerd als onderdeel van een voortdurende digitale vernieuwing en als eerbetoon aan de jonge heilige, die vaak wordt gezien als een voorbeeld voor evangelisatie via nieuwe technologie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n

Na het downloaden van de app kunnen gebruikers een dankwoord lezen van het Gouvernement van Vaticaanstad aan Andrea en Antonia Acutis, de ouders van Carlo.<\/p>\n

\u201cHet Gouvernement van Vaticaanstad dankt Andrea en Antonia Acutis die, ter gelegenheid van de heiligverklaring van hun zoon Carlo, genereus hebben bijgedragen aan de creatie en ontwikkeling van de Nieuws-app van de offici\u00eble website www.vaticanstate.va,\u201d<\/a> zo luidt het bericht.<\/p>\n

De nieuwe applicatie, die in het weekend officieel werd gelanceerd, is opgedragen aan de Italiaanse heilige, die in 2006 op 15-jarige leeftijd aan leukemie overleed en vaak wordt herinnerd om zijn computervaardigheden.<\/p>\n

Het platform is ontworpen om snelle, intu\u00eftieve toegang te bieden tot nieuws, mededelingen en offici\u00eble communicatie van het Vaticaanse Gouvernement, met als doel de navigatie en toegankelijkheid van institutionele informatie te verbeteren.<\/p>\n

De app bevat verschillende secties, waaronder \u201cheilige van de dag\u201d, nieuws, interviews, video's en directe links naar andere instellingen van het Gouvernement, zoals het Korps Gendarmerie, de Vaticaanse Musea, de Vaticaanse Apotheek, Poste Vaticane, de Pauselijke Villa's en de Vaticaanse Sterrenwacht.<\/p>\n

Volgens het bericht zullen er gaandeweg extra functies worden toegevoegd.<\/p>\n

De lancering van de app volgt nadat de institutionele website van de Heilige Stoel<\/a> een grafische revisie kreeg na de verkiezing van paus Leo XIV op 8 mei. Dat portaal heeft nu een moderner ontwerp, inclusief een hemelsblauwe achtergrond en een afbeelding van de paus die de gelovigen begroet, waarmee een site die sinds december 1995 online was, is bijgewerkt.<\/p>\n

De Vaticaanstad-app is gratis te downloaden voor iOS- en Android-apparaten.<\/p>\n
