Querido Dios,

I come to You today because I know I am not perfect. There are times when my thoughts are not kind, when the words I say can be hurtful, and when my actions don’t honor You. I know these things are called sin, and they create a distance between us. It makes me feel sad and heavy inside to know that I have let You down and hurt others.

I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made, both the big ones and the small ones that nobody else might see. I don’t want to hide them anymore.
