God has a unique and wonderful plan for each of us, and He is eager to guide us into it. Breaking off complacency releases the blessing of a life filled with meaning. Jeremiah 29:11 declares God’s heart for us: “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

We are not left defenseless in our spiritual walk. God has given us spiritual armor and the authority of Jesus’ name to stand firm against any opposition. James 4:7 gives us a clear command and promise: “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Prayer for an Open Heart to Receive God’s Blessings

God is constantly offering His goodness, but we must have open hearts to receive it. Breaking the curse of a closed-off spirit allows God’s blessings to finally flow in. As Jesus says in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
