Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” I claim this promise for my life right now. Please calm the storm inside me. Let Your perfect peace stand guard over my heart and my mind.
Help me to trust You with my future and to rest in the knowledge that You are in control of all things. When anxious thoughts arise, help me to immediately turn them over to You in prayer. Fill the spaces in my heart that are filled with fear with Your comforting presence and unshakeable truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Fill me so completely with Your Holy Spirit that there is no room left for sinful desires. Help me to flee from evil and to run toward You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lift my eyes from my despair and help me to fix them on You. Be the anchor for my soul, holding me steady in this storm. Even when I cannot see it, help me to believe that You are working all things together for my good. Restore my joy and let hope rise in me again. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Help me to empty my hands of my own efforts so that I can receive the free gift of Your grace. Let me find my confidence not in myself, but in You alone. Give me a teachable spirit and a servant’s heart, always aware that every good thing in my life is a gift from You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Even when I don’t understand what You are doing, help me to believe that You are good and that Your plans for me are for my good. Give me peace in the waiting. Settle my restless soul with the assurance that You are weaving every detail of my life into a beautiful masterpiece. Let my heart’s cry be, “Your will be done.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
