Prayers for Police Officers: Protection, Judgment and Rest After the Shift

  • Short prayers cover a police officer’s shift: protection on a dangerous call, judgment in a split second, calm words, honesty, compassion, a hard call, rest off duty, the squad, commanders, trust with the neighborhood, an injury and the family at home.
  • A short first-person prayer for an officer going on duty can be printed and carried.
