I confess my struggle to accept Your grace. I am trying to add my own works or my own suffering to the finished work of Jesus on the cross, and I know this is wrong. Help my unbelief. Help me to truly understand the depth of Your forgiveness. Let the reality of it sink from my head down into the deepest parts of my heart.
Help me to see myself the way You see me now: washed clean, righteous in Christ, and completely forgiven. Silence the voice of the accuser that tells me I am still defined by my sin.
