Dutch Prayer for Unity
The Body of Christ is made of many different people from all walks of life. Unity doesn’t mean we are all the same, but that we are joined together in love for a common purpose. This prayer asks for that powerful togetherness.
Heavenly Father, You have called us to be one body, united in spirit and purpose. True courage isn’t the absence of fear, but acting despite it because we trust in God’s power. He promises to be our constant help. This is what Joshua 1:9 reminds us: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Prayer for a Spirit of Forgiveness

Choosing to forgive is one of the most powerful ways we can imitate Christ. It brings healing to the church and demonstrates God’s love. We are called to “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).

Strong, godly leaders are a blessing to the entire church body. Our prayers for them are vital. The Bible urges us to “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden” (Hebrews 13:17).
Prayer for a Passion for the Lost
The core mission of the Church is to share the good news of Jesus with a world that desperately needs hope. This prayer is to ignite a fire within believers to see lost people the way God sees them and to actively reach out.
Lord of the Harvest, you desire that no one should perish, but that everyone should come to salvation. We confess that we often become comfortable in our own circles and forget the urgency of sharing Your love with those who do not know You.

Our mission is to join God in His work of reaching the world. A heart that is passionate for God will also be passionate for people. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Luke 10:2).
Prayer for Purity
The Church is called to be a bride for Christ—holy, pure, and set apart from the world. This prayer asks God to purify the hearts and minds of His people, making them a true reflection of His righteousness in a morally compromised world.

God is our ultimate source of healing and comfort, and He often uses His people to deliver that care. The church should be a place of recovery and hope. James 5:16 says, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

We do not have to live in fear, because our God is our protector. Praying for His protection is an act of faith and dependence on Him. As promised in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”
