This prayer asks God to fill their heart with appreciation and a peaceful satisfaction in His goodness.

Generous God, Giver of every good and perfect gift,

I come to You today with a prayer for my dear friend, asking that You would cultivate in their heart a deep and abiding spirit of thankfulness and true contentment. In all seasons of life, help them to recognize and appreciate the countless blessings, both big and small, that You have poured out upon them.

Open their eyes to see Your goodness all around them – in nature, in relationships, in moments of peace, and in Your constant provision. Guard their heart from comparison and envy, and from the restless desire for what they do not have. Instead, fill them with a profound gratitude for who they are and what You have already given them.

Lord, teach them the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether they have plenty or are in need. May their satisfaction be found not in circumstances or material possessions, but in Your unwavering love and their relationship with You. Help them to trust in Your provision for their future, releasing anxiety about what is to come.

May a thankful heart lead them to greater joy, deeper peace, and a desire to share Your blessings with others. Help them to express their gratitude to You and to those around them, spreading warmth and appreciation wherever they go.
