The Bible’s laws and proverbs on business ask for honesty in weights and measures, in paying workers, and in how profit is made. The Law of Moses forbids dishonest weights (Deuteronomy 25:13-16) and wages held back overnight (Leviticus 19:13), and Proverbs says the Lord detests dishonest scales (Proverbs 11:1).
