Prayer for Our Leaders’ Wisdom and Integrity
Our leaders make decisions that affect millions of lives. We lift them up, asking God to guide their hearts and minds, so they lead with a deep sense of responsibility, fairness, and a true desire to serve the people of Kenya.
Heavenly Father, we come before you today with a heavy heart for our nation of Kenya, and we lift up our leaders to you. From the President to local officials, we pray that you would fill them with a spirit of wisdom that comes only from you. Grant them the insight to see beyond selfish gain and political games, and to truly understand the needs of the people they serve.
Lord, we plead for a wave of integrity to wash over our government. Break the chains of corruption that have stolen from the poor and destroyed public trust. Create in our leaders a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them. Give them the moral courage to stand for what is just, even when it is difficult or unpopular. May they feel the weight of their calling and be humbled by the responsibility you have allowed them to carry.
Surround them with godly counsel and protect them from those who would lead them astray. Let their words be true and their actions be righteous. May their leadership build up our nation, not tear it down. We place our hope in You, the King of all kings, to guide our country through them, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
