Lord of the Harvest, You know that we were not made to live in isolation. You often use your people to show Your love to the world. I am praying that you would strategically bring godly, authentic Christian friends into the life of my loved one. Please send people who are full of your grace and truth.
I ask that these friendships would be genuine and natural, not forced or awkward. Send a coworker, a neighbor, or a new acquaintance who lives out their faith with integrity, joy, and compassion. Let my loved one be drawn to the light they see in this person’s life. Let them see a peace that doesn’t make sense, a hope that endures hardship, and a love that is unconditional.
May these Christian friends be a safe place for my loved one to ask tough questions without fear of judgment. Give these friends the wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen, and the courage to share their own story of faith at the right time. Use these divine connections to plant seeds of truth and to show your love in a tangible, personal way, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
We can trust God to arrange divine appointments and bring the right people at the right time. Proverbs 27:17 speaks to the power of godly relationships: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
