Korean Missionary Faces 17-Year Imprisonment in Russia

The trial of Korean missionary Park Tae-Yeon, 69, resumed recently in Russia. Missionary Park was arrested in January 2026, one week before she was due to return to South Korea to retire after 33 years of ministry in Russia.   She was arrested for immigration violations, but there were also investigations into “religious camps” she was allegedly involved with in Khabarovsk, Russia.   Missionary Park serves with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).
