Where these answers come from

Every answer above is a passage from one of our comparison articles, copied as it stands, and the article is named under it. Beside it is a link to the church’s own words: the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Augsburg Confession, the Westminster Confession, the Baptist Faith and Message and the rest. When our articles do not yet say clearly what a church teaches on a question, the answer is left empty rather than guessed. We ask nothing about what you believe, and nothing you choose here is kept.
