  • L'inganno ha due significati: quello coniugale e quello legato alla disonestà, e la Scrittura li tratta come parenti, perché entrambi infrangono una promessa mentre l'altra parte si fida ancora di noi.
  • Proverbi 11:1 definisce la bilancia falsa un abominio, la stessa parola che Deuteronomio 7:25 usa per gli idoli.
