概要

  • シナモンは、以下の樹木の樹皮の内側から採れる香り高いスパイスである。 Cinnamomum 主にスリランカやインドネシアなどの熱帯地域で栽培されている。
  • 古代においてシナモンは非常に高く評価され、宗教儀式に使用され、エジプト、ギリシャ、ローマを含む様々な文化圏で富、美、そして霊的な献身の象徴とされていた。
