Prayer 1 of 4About 40 seconds aloud

Lord God, thank you for speaking to us. Thank you for the people who wrote these books, for those who copied and translated them, and for those who taught them to us. We have your word in our own language, in our hands, to read as often as we like. Do not let us take that for granted. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105): light our way tonight as we read. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
