  • 2. Timotheus 3,16 nennt die gesamte Schrift „von Gott eingegeben“, aus dem Griechischen theopneustos, und führt ihren Nutzen auf: zur Lehre, zur Überführung, zur Zurechtweisung und zur Erziehung in der Gerechtigkeit.
  • Johannes 1,1 und Johannes 1,14 sprechen vom Wort als einer Person, die Gott war und „Fleisch wurde und unter uns wohnte“.
  • Jesaja 40,8 sagt, dass das Wort Gottes ewig bleibt; 1. Petrus 1,24-25 zitiert dies, und Jesus sagt dasselbe über seine eigenen Worte in Matthäus 24,35.

The word of God is what God speaks, the Scriptures, and a person who became flesh.
