Prayer 1 of 4About a minute aloud

We invite you to come and sit with us in our grief, to walk with us in our sorrow, and to be the unseen guest who comforts every heart. Let us feel your nearness in the kindness of a friend, in the beauty of a shared memory, and in the quiet stillness of this moment. Open the eyes of our hearts to see you here. Let the warmth of your love be a tangible comfort that pushes back the chill of loneliness. Remind us that though we cannot see you, you are closer than our very breath. You are our constant companion, our ever-present help in times of trouble. Let the assurance of your presence be the foundation upon which we stand as we leave this place, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
