Dreaming About Bleeding Eyes: The Bible Gives It No Meaning

  • Scripture records no dream of bleeding eyes and gives no meaning to one. There is no verse about the image at all, asleep or awake.
  • If anyone has called it a sign of a curse, a spiritual attack or a coming death, that was not Scripture speaking.
  • What the Bible says about eyes and tears is tender: “Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll” (Psalm 56:8) — counted and filed.
  • Jesus wept over Lazarus and over a city (Luke 19:41). Christianity never asks anyone to stop crying, only promises it is not permanent.
  • Revelation 21:4 is physical: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes.” The tears are still there when he arrives; he deals with them one face at a time.

Scripture records no dream of bleeding eyes, and gives no meaning to one. No verse mentions it, no prophet interprets it, and anyone offering a reading has made it up.
