圣经中没有记录过眼睛流血的梦，也没有给出任何含义。无论是睡着还是醒着，都没有任何经文提到过这种意象。
如果有人称这是诅咒、属灵攻击或死亡即将来临的征兆，那绝非出自圣经。
圣经中关于眼睛和眼泪的记载是温柔的：“我流离飘荡，你都记数；求你把我眼泪装在你的皮袋里”（诗篇 56:8）——它们被一一数算并记录在案。
耶稣曾为拉撒路哭泣，也曾为一座城市哭泣（路加福音 19:41）。基督教从未要求任何人停止哭泣，只是应许哭泣并非永恒。
