22 Versetti biblici sul credere



  • Nel Nuovo Testamento greco, credere (pisteuo) e fede (pistis) provengono dalla stessa famiglia di parole.
  • Genesi 15:6, “egli credette al SIGNORE, che glielo mise in conto come giustizia”, è citato sia da Paolo (Romani 4:3) che da Giacomo (Giacomo 2:23).
  • Giovanni 20:31 afferma che il Vangelo di Giovanni è stato scritto affinché i suoi lettori possano credere che Gesù è il Cristo e avere vita nel suo nome.
  • Giacomo 2:19 ammette che credere che “Dio è uno” è giusto, e aggiunge che anche i demoni lo credono.
  • In Marco 9:24 un padre risponde a Gesù con “Io credo; aiuta la mia incredulità!”, e Gesù guarisce suo figlio.

In the Bible, believing means trusting God and the one he sent, and eternal life is promised to whoever believes. John 3:16 makes that promise. Abram “believed the LORD” and it was counted to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6). Paul and Silas tell a jailer, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31), Romans 10:9-10 says what is believed, and James 2:19 points out that demons also believe that God is one.
