Summary

  • Jesus gives “Love one another” as a new command in John 13:34, with “As I have loved you” as its measure.
  • Genesis 2:24, on a man and his wife becoming one flesh, is quoted by Jesus in Mark 10 and by Paul in Ephesians 5:31.
  • Matthew 5:23-24 sends a worshipper to be reconciled with someone who has something against him, and Matthew 18:15 sends the one who saw a sin to speak privately first.
