Prayers for Community and Unity: For a Group, a Church or a Town

  • Ten short prayers for a group to say together cover opening and closing a gathering, a divided community, newcomers, listening, differences, shared gifts, friendship, sharing and the town where the group lives.
  • The Didache, a church manual most scholars date before AD 100, prays that the Church be “gathered together from the ends of the earth” as scattered grain becomes one loaf.
