Summary
- The 1928 Book of Common Prayer has a family prayer “For Those in Mental Darkness,” which asks God to restore “strength of mind and cheerfulness of spirit.”

- Jairus (Mark 5) and a Canaanite woman (Matthew 15) both asked Jesus to heal a daughter, and both daughters were healed.
