Resumo
- 101 does not appear in the Bible. In English it means the beginner’s course, which makes the better question: where does Scripture say to start?
- Hebrews 6:1-2 names the foundation explicitly — repentance, faith, cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, resurrection and judgment — and says to move beyond it rather than lay it again.
- The rebuke before it is sharper: “though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths all over again” (Hebrews 5:12). Paul says the same in 1 Corinthians 3:2.
- Maturity is measured by trained discernment, not knowledge: “by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil” (Hebrews 5:14).
- For a practical start: a Gospel first, then Acts, then a short letter, with Psalms alongside and Revelation last.
