Women named as prophets in Scripture: Miriam (Exodus 15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4), Huldah (2 Kings 22:14), Noadiah, whom Nehemiah counted an opponent (Nehemiah 6:14), and Anna (Luke 2:36). Isaiah’s wife is called the prophetess at Isaiah 8:3.

Micah lists Miriam with Moses and Aaron at Micah 6:4.

Huldah’s verdict is at 2 Kings 22:15-20; Josiah’s reform follows in chapter 23.

Abigail’s interception of David is at 1 Samuel 25:18-35. Sarah’s laugh is at Genesis 18:12-15.
