  • Romanos 8:20 dice que la creación “fue sujetada a frustración”, usando mataiotes, la palabra de la Septuaginta para la “vanidad” (hebel) de Eclesiastés.
  • “No te irrites” en el Salmo 37 traduce charah, calentarse en vexación, y el versículo 8 dice que “solo conduce al mal”.

The Bible says the whole creation “was subjected to frustration,” not by its own choice, and in hope of being set free. Paul writes this in Romans 8:20-21, and Ecclesiastes 2:22-23 describes the same thing in daily work that gives no rest even at night. Habakkuk asks God “How long, Lord” (Habakkuk 1:2-3). Job searches for God without finding him and still says God knows the way he takes (Job 23:10), and Jonah is angry enough to wish himself dead…
