完全かつ迅速な回復のための祈り、感謝の祈りを込めて



  • 他者の回復(完全な回復、迅速な回復、手術後、怪我の後、医療チームのために)と、病にある人自身の祈り(回復が遅い時、後退した時、強さを求める時、心を落ち着かせる時)を網羅した10の短い祈り。
  • 伝統的な祈りは、1928年版『聖公会祈祷書』(「回復のための祈り」315ページ、「病人の回復のために」597ページ)およびハップグッドによる1906年の翻訳『正教会聖事式文』の「聖油の秘跡」から引用しています。
  • 回復への感謝の祈りは、1928年版『聖公会祈祷書』(315〜316ページ)および1888年版『カトリック』 『祈りの手引書』 (470〜471ページ)から引用しています。
  • 正教会の信徒は、305年頃に殉教した医師である聖パンテレイモンに、病人のために祈るようよく願い求めます。彼は聖油の秘跡の祈りの中で名が挙げられています。
  • 聖書には、迅速な癒やしの記録(マルコによる福音書1章31節、ヨハネによる福音書4章46〜53節)や、祈りとイチジクの湿布によるヒゼキヤの回復(列王記下20章5〜7節)が記されています。
  • 祈りは医療と並行して行われるものであり、決して医療に取って代わるものではありません。

This prayer asks for a quick and full recovery: “Lord, you know what is wrong with [name] better than any test can show. Heal [him or her] fully, bless the treatment, and give back strength soon. Amen.” Short prayers for each stage of getting better follow, with old prayers of thanks for a recovery. Prayer goes alongside the doctor’s care and never replaces it. Keep taking the treatment, keep the appointments, and call a doctor if new or worse symptoms…
