概要

  • 愛犬の最期の日々（老い、痛み、安楽死の決断、最後の獣医への訪問、自宅での看取り、獣医師スタッフへの感謝）に寄り添う短い祈り。
  • 死後の祈り（最初の夜、埋葬、罪悪感、家の中の空虚感、子供たちの悲しみ、良き犬への感謝）について。
  • 本誌に寄稿した正教会の司祭たちは フォマ 動物の「冥福」を祈るべきではないと述べています。なぜなら、死者のための祈りは罪の赦しを求めるものであり、それは動物には当てはまらないからです。ただし、正教会の祈祷書には生きている動物を祝福する祈りは存在します。
  • 大バシレイオスは動物の魂は肉体の死後も存続しないと説き、エイレナイオスはイザヤ書にある狼と子羊の記述が「義人の復活」において現実の動物にも適用されるだろうと記しました。 フォマ この問いは未解決のままです。
  • 「犬の祈り」や「虹の橋」は詩であり、教会の祈祷文ではありません。

When a dog is dying, pray simply: “Lord, [name] is near the end. Keep [him or her] from pain and fear, let the end come gently, and help me stay close to the last. Thank you for every year we had.
