- No one in the Bible dreams about eggs. Scripture interprets several dreams in detail — Pharaoh’s, Nebuchadnezzar’s, the baker’s — but records no dream of eggs and offers no key to one.
- The Bible has no dream dictionary at all. It never assigns fixed meanings to images; where a dream carries a message, God supplies the interpretation himself.
- Eggs appear four times: the ostrich in Job 39:14, the bird’s nest law in Deuteronomy 22:6, Isaiah’s vipers’ eggs in 59:5, and Jesus’ own example in Luke 11:12.
- That last one is the point: a father would never hand a hungry child a scorpion instead of an egg. The egg in Scripture is breakfast, not an omen.
- White, broken or nested eggs carry no biblical meaning. Those readings are folk tradition. Jeremiah 23:28 calls dreams straw and God’s word grain.
