  • Levitico 19:18 proibisce di vendicarsi o di serbare rancore nello stesso versetto che comanda di “amare il prossimo tuo come te stesso”.
  • “A me la vendetta” proviene dal Cantico di Mosè (Deuteronomio 32:35); Romani 12:19 lo cita per proibire la vendetta personale, ed Ebrei 10:30 lo cita come avvertimento ai credenti.
