  • Il verbo “appoggiarsi” di Proverbi 3:5 traduce sha’an, sostenersi o fare affidamento, lo stesso verbo usato per Asa che si affida al Signore e poi al re di Aram (2 Cronache 16:7-8).
  • Isaia 10:20 usa il verbo due volte: il resto smetterà di fare affidamento sull'Assiria, che li ha colpiti, e farà affidamento sul Signore.
