殺害に関する聖書の言葉17選

  • 出エジプト記20章13節の戒めには、ヘブライ語の動詞が使われている ratsach, 。ストロング聖書辞典ではこれを「殺害する、殺す、殺める」と定義しており、NIV訳では「殺してはならない」とされている。
  • モーセの律法は、意図的な殺人と過失致死を区別し(出エジプト記21:12-14)、過失致死を犯した者に逃れの町と裁判の機会を与えている(民数記35章)。
  • 出エジプト記22章2-3節は、夜間に押し入った泥棒を打ち殺した防衛者を無罪としているが、日の出後にそうした場合は無罪としていない。
