概要

  • 創世記2章24節は、父と母を離れ、妻と結ばれて一体となることを結びつけており、イエスはマタイによる福音書19章4-5節で、それを創造主が「言われた」言葉として引用しています。
  • マラキ書2章14節は、妻を「誓約による」伴侶と呼び、主が夫と妻の間で証人となられたと述べています。
  • コリントの信徒への手紙一6章18節およびテサロニケの信徒への手紙一4章3節において、「不品行」と訳されているのは porneia, であり、欽定訳聖書では「fornication（姦淫）」と訳されています。
