概要

  • カトリック教会、正教会、および多くのプロテスタント教会は、カップルが愛し合っているかどうかにかかわらず、性交渉は結婚の中でのみ許されると教えています。
  • 新約聖書は porneia, （「性的不品行」や「姦淫」と訳される）を禁じており、パウロは自制できない未婚者に対して結婚するように勧めています（コリント人への手紙第一 7章2節、9節）。
  • カトリック教会の教理問答では、姦淫を重大な過ちとし、性的結合は「決定的な生活共同体」が確立された後にのみ正当であると述べています（2353、2391）。
