  1. イエスの昇天後、弟子たちは世界中に教えを広め、大きな困難に耐え抜いた。
  2. 各使徒の運命は彼らの揺るぎない信仰の証であり、多くがイエスの名のために殉教した。
  3. 歴史的に見て、イスカリオテのユダは自らの行動の結果として最初に亡くなった使徒であり、ヨハネは高齢になるまで生きた最後の使徒であった。
  4. 使命への深い献身にもかかわらず、多くの使徒は夫であり父親でもあり、神聖な召命の中で人間らしさを示していた。
