- لا تُذكر أوراق البرسيم ذات الأربع وريقات في الكتاب المقدس، ولكن غالبًا ما تُستخدم الطبيعة كرمز للحقائق الروحية.
- في الثقافة المسيحية، ترمز الأوراق الأربع لبرسيم رباعي الأوراق إلى الأناجيل الأربعة وفضائل مثل الإيمان والرجاء والمحبة، وليس الحظ.
- مفهوم الحظ المرتبط بأوراق البرسيم ذات الأربع وريقات يتناقض مع التعاليم الكتابية حول عناية الله وسيادته.
