  • Ángela no es un nombre en la Biblia, pero el griego Angelos detrás de él aparece cientos de veces y simplemente significa mensajero.
  • La palabra describe un trabajo más que una especie. Hebreos 1:14 llama a los ángeles “espíritus ministradores enviados para servir”, y Gabriel se presenta por el lugar donde está y por el hecho de que fue enviado (Lucas 1:19).
