概要

  • 創世記1章31節では、創造の各段階が「良い」とされた後、神が造られたすべてのものが「非常に良かった」と記されています。
  • 詩編27編4節は「主の麗しさを仰ぎ見る」ことを求めています。ここで使われているヘブライ語は、 ノアム, であり、心地よさや喜びという意味も持ちます。
  • 詩編29編2節でNIV訳が「聖なる輝きの中で」と礼拝を表現している箇所を、欽定訳（KJV）では「聖なる美しさの中で」と訳しています。このヘブライ語の名詞は、 ハダラー, であり、輝き、威厳、あるいは美しさを意味します。
  • サムエル記上16章7節で、神はエリアブの外見にかかわらず彼を退け、選ばれたダビデはハンサムであると描写されています（16:12）。
