  • Isaiah 49:25 promises Zion “I will save your children,” in a chapter where God says that even a nursing mother may forget her child, “yet I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15).
  • Mark 10:14 says Jesus was indignant when his disciples turned children away, and Mark 10:16 says he took them in his arms and blessed them.
