15 Bible Verses About Blooming

  • Isaiah 35:1-2, Isaiah 27:6 and Hosea 14:5-6 promise, in the future tense, that the desert and Israel “shall blossom.”
  • Aaron’s staff budded, blossomed and bore ripe almonds by the next day, and was kept before the testimony as a sign for the rebels (Numbers 17:8-10).
  • Psalm 1:3 and Jeremiah 17:7-8 both picture the person who trusts God as a tree planted by water; Jeremiah adds the year of drought.
  • Isaiah 40:8, quoted in 1 Peter 1:24-25, sets the fading flower against the word of God that stands forever.
