  • Genesis 1:16 places the stars in the fourth day of creation, and Psalm 147:4 and Isaiah 40:26 say God numbers them and calls each by name.
  • Deuteronomy 4:19 forbids bowing down to the sun, moon and stars, and Isaiah 47:13 mocks Babylon’s stargazers.
